Just a quick reminder that SCMS will have a 1pm Early Release today, Wednesday, November 13th for Teacher/Professional development. Lunch will be served and busses will run 2 hours early. Also, due to the Monday holiday there will be school this Friday, November 15th.

We are so excited to be partnering with the American Heart Association! With the American Heart Challenge, we’ll raise funds and awareness for things like congenital heart defects, nutrition security, CPR training, mental well-being and more as we work to end heart disease and stroke.
The education that our 7th graders, in particular, will gain could save a life. It is our goal that all our students feel confident in performing hands only CPR or at the very least know what to do in a heart related emergency.
Through your participation and support you're not only helping hearts in our community, but you're also helping those who need it most. Your donation will fund groundbreaking research and programs that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
Thank you for helping us reach our goal!

During the week of November 4, students will have the opportunity to take the Nevada School Climate/Social Emotional Learning Survey in their Advisory class. This survey is administered throughout the state of Nevada during the Fall to gather student feedback about their experiences at school. The survey is an opportunity for students to anonymously share their experiences of their school’s climate with their school, school district, and NDE. To learn more about the survey, visit nevadaschoolclimate.org. Parents can preview the survey by viewing the attachment in your email. Questions on the survey are optional. Students can choose not to answer any question they do not want to answer. If you have any questions about the NV-SCSEL survey, please contact Spring Creek Middle School at 775-777-1688.

Conferences are October 29th and 30th. Notices have been sent home. If you have any questions, reach out to your student's advisory (1st period) teacher.
